Shenzhen Technology University(SZTU) Partners with Huawei, Tencent, and Baidu to Launch Joint Programs

In the wave of global digital transformation, how can we cultivate truly application-oriented talent that aligns with industry needs? Shenzhen Technology University (SZTU) leverages its 15th Five-Year Plan to guide development, focusing on industry-driven demand, talent cultivation, and technological innovation. In November 2024, SZTU launched the “In-Depth Industry-Education Alignment Research Program” to strengthen the “Thorough Research, Genuine Implementation” mechanism.

The university’s official WeChat account presents the “In-Depth Research” series to showcase immersive investigations by various schools into enterprises and production lines. These reports also introduce the 40 undergraduate majors available for admission in 2025.

Today, we highlight the impressive results from the School of Big Data and Internet, which has established joint industry academies and special classes with leading companies like Huawei, Tencent, and Baidu, using enterprise research as the compass to pioneer a new elite talent training model rooted in industry–education integration.

Diversified Talent Cultivation

Connecting Classrooms with Industry in Real Time

The School of Big Data and Internet promotes diversified talent development by co-establishing industry academies and specialized classes with top domestic tech firms and renowned international universities. These include:
