GCEEC has national sectors or representative offices in more than 60 member and associate member countries and regions around the world, serving as our permanent institutions in each member country. We recognize only one national sector per country, which is a full member of GCEEC and is required to be a member of the United Nations Organisation or one of its agencies. National Sector members are expected to participate actively in GCEEC’s programmes and to comply with the internal rules and resolutions.
