Sun Yat-sen University
Sun Yat-sen University (SYSU), founded by Dr. Sun Yat-sen in 1924, is a national key university directly administered by the Ministry of Education and co-constructed by the Ministry and Guangdong Province. With campuses in Guangzhou, Zhuhai, and Shenzhen, SYSU encompasses five campuses and ten affiliated hospitals, establishing itself as a comprehensive, research-oriented, and open institution.

Potential for Collaboration
SYSU has potential for collaboration in the following areas:
1) Artificial Intelligence and Big Data: Through its joint lab with SANSI OpenMind and based on the National Supercomputing Center in Guangzhou, SYSU promotes the development of AI technologies and software ecosystems to serve the digital economy.
2) Intelligent Manufacturing and Automotive Technologies: SYSU and GAC Group jointly established a research institute and several laboratories focusing on foundational and applied research related to the

4) New Materials and Optoelectronics: SYSU hosts a National Key Laboratory of Optoelectronic Materials and Technology, conducting research on luminescent display materials, photovoltaic conversion materials, and optoelectronic integrated devices to support application in emerging materials and technologies.
5) Marine Science and Engineering: Based on the Southern Marine Science and Engineering Guangdong Laboratory (Zhuhai), SYSU carries out research in marine resource development and protection, marine environmental monitoring, and governance, supporting cooperation in marine science and engineering.
